Exhibition Program

In connection with the conference there will be a 4-day technology exhibition in the Main Hall of the Conference Center. The exhibitors are listed below.

Sardegna Ricerche is a public agency created by the Regional Government to promote the island's economic development by leveraging on technology innovation and knowledge. Polaris is a system of advanced facilities and services fostering innovation, development and the industrialisation of research. With two main centers and more than 60 tenant companies and research centres, POLARIS is one of the largest science parks in Italy, ranking first among Italian technology parks as to number of biotech tenants (Assobiotec-Ernst&Young "BioInItaly 2010" Report). At Eurographics 2012, Polaris will present the science and technology park and showcase the activities of selected installed companies.
Artec Group is a manufacturer of affordable, hand-held 3D scanners that are used around the world in various industries such as graphic design, animation, medicine, heritage preservation and reverse engineering. The company, headquartered in Luxembourg, consists of a team of high-calibre specialists who have been working together for more than 10 years, and who are seen as leading experts in the sphere of  capturing/processing of 3D surfaces, as well as face recognition. At Eurographics 2012, Artec will present its newest 3D scanner, called EVA. 
Konica Minolta manufactures high-accuracy, portable 3D scanners ideal for dimensional analysis, reverse engineering, industrial design, research and development, and art & heritage. Konica Minolta 3D scanning products have been leading the industry for over 15 years. At Eurographics 2012, Konica Minolta will present with its 3D scanners.
3D TARGET was founded to provide assistance, products, rental, and training courses about Non Destructive Test to every company, professionist and PA. We have active agreements and partnerships with the leading brands in the sector. 3D TARGET aims to be leader for quality in assistance before and after sal, selection and use of the proposed technology, technical expertise of its employees. The goal is to provide comprehensive support for all hardware and software products offered, including Laser Scanners, Thermal Image Cameras, Tracking Systems, General Test & Measurement Instruments. The services offered cover sales of Instruments, Maintenance and Support of Instrument, Instrument Calibration, Technical Support, and Training Courses. At Eurographics 2012, 3D TARGET will demonstrate selected scanning products.

SestoSenso is one of the major italian provider of advanced 3D solutions that empower customers to take their product design to the next level. Tracking systems, motion capture devices, 3D stereo visualization systems, 3D interaction tools, as well as planning and realization of virtual rooms are only a small selection of SestoSenso's technology offer. At Eurographics 2012, Sestosenso will showcase their products and solutions  for computer graphics specialists.
Holografika is a Hungarian venture active in the field of emerging photonic technologies. The company developed a proprietary 3D light-field technology and holds several patents in 3D visualization, including real 3D display devices, software applications, and 3D data compression solutions. The company develops and sells advanced HoloVizio 3D displaying systems in Europe and Asia. Holografika has a long history of collaboration with CRS4, is involved in many international, EU R&D projects and has established important partnerships and cooperation with large international players like BAE Systems, Shell, ENI, Peugeot-Citroen, Technicolor, France Telecom, Samsung. At Eurographics 2012, Holografika will introduce its 3D displaying system developed in the framework of the EU ICT FP7 project, 3D Vivant.
Var Group is the Italian leader in integration of IT technologies and solutions. At Eurographics 2012, Var Group will demonstrate a Private Cloud infrastructure.

 

NVIDIA, HP and Projection Design, in collaboration with CRS4 Visual Computing, will demonstrate at Eurographics 2012 hardware and systems for exploring complex 3D models in an advanced projection-based virtual room setting.
Double Negative, located in London's Soho, was set up in 1998 with a team of 30 staff. Since then the company has grown to around 1,000 staff, making it Europe's largest provider of visual effects for Film. In 2009, Double Negative opened the doors to its Singapore office, currently housing a team of around 200. Double Negative is a full-service VFX facility capable of handling projects from initial design through on-set supervision and production to post-production. Gexcel is an Italian University Spin Off company with the mission to turn the latest scientific achievements in the Geomatics field into hi-tech products and services for wide application areas, with particular attention to the treatment of data from LiDAR sensors. JRC 3D Reconstructor and Gexcel R3 are the leading software solutions developed and distributed with success worldwide, and applied in construction, cultural heritage and industrial sectors. The software packages are provided both directly by Gexcel and through some of the most important LiDAR sensors developers. Gexcel provides also hardware / software solutions in the forge, volumes evaluation and mining sectors. The software packages and the systems developed by Gexcel deliver real, affordable and easy to use solutions to the final customer. KARALIT is a computational fluid dynamic (CFD) software provider, which developed a revolutionary CFD 3D software. KARALIT CFD software is based on disruptive technologies that combine to ease the simulation process, to a point unthinkable before. When coupled with NICE EnginFrame Views, a multi-protocol Web-based session manager, it allows remote access via LAN or WAN to “Virtual Workstations” that leverage the best computational resources (GPU, memory, I/O throughput) available in the Public or Private Cloud.
3DDD is an Italian company that has its headquarter in Sardinia. The aim of the company is to provide 3D virtual models and physical reproductions through the use of laser scanners, to obtain photorealistic reproductions and real objects that can be used in many different fields, to support activities in architecture, tourism, cultural heritage. The company also offers ICT services to companies and public bodies.
The Neuropharmacology Atlas is an interactive 3D brain atlas with access to a database of scientific information and multimedia contents. The project was created by The EL-PRO Consortium, which provides services based on electron microscopy for biological applications and is involved in the research and development of novel formulative systems to optimize the bioavailability of pharmacological agents.
The project also involves PharmaNess scarl, which is a preclinical research and development (R&D) company focused in identifying new therapeutic strategies for diseases with high social impact with specialist in neuropsychiatry, and Cruel Design, an interactive boutique focused to help companies to develop and communicate their business on the Internet and new interactive media. Cruel Design is "Oracle Gold Partner" and also develops interactive applications for smartphones and tablets.
